Who we are
Piano Men: Generations is a live show produced by TAD Shows. This website is run by the show's producer, Terry Davies. If you have any question about your information, email terry@tadshows.com.
What we collect, and why
The mailing list
If you join the mailing list, we ask for your email address, your first name, where you are (United Kingdom, United States or elsewhere) and, if you want to give it, your nearest town or postcode. We use this to tell you about new shows, ticket releases and news, and to send you alerts for shows near you rather than everything everywhere. We only add you if you tick the box to say yes, and you can leave at any time.
The booking and contact form
If you write to us, we ask for your name, your email address, what your message is about and the message itself, plus a phone number if you choose to give one. We use this to reply to you and, for venues and promoters, to arrange bookings. We keep booking correspondence for as long as we are working together and for our records afterwards.
Visits to the site
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, which country they are in and what kind of device they use. It works without cookies and does not identify you personally. Our host, Vercel, also keeps ordinary server logs, which include your device's internet address, to run and protect the site.
Things that stay on your device
- Shows near me. If you press this button, your browser asks you for permission and then works out which shows are closest. Your location is used only inside your browser, is kept only until you close the tab, and is never sent to us.
- Your bag. Items you add to your bag on the store page are remembered in your browser so they are still there if you come back. Nothing is sent to us. Checkout happens on shophammertime.com.
- Cookies. This site does not set cookies of its own. Some of the services below may use their own cookies or storage when you use them.
Services we use
- Tally provides the mailing-list and contact forms and stores what you submit on our behalf. Tally is based in Belgium and covered by EU data-protection law. Tally's privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the analytics described above. Vercel's privacy policy.
- Bandsintown supplies our tour dates. When you view a tour page, your browser fetches the latest dates from Bandsintown, and ticket links take you to Bandsintown or the venue's own box office. Bandsintown's privacy policy.
- YouTube plays our videos. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which does not set cookies until you press play. Google's privacy policy.
- Shopify runs our store at shophammertime.com. Orders and payments are handled there under the store's privacy policy.
Who sees your information
Only the people who run the show and its bookings. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not share them with anyone else except the services above, which process them for us.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw your consent to the mailing list at any time. Email terry@tadshows.com and we will sort it out. If you are in the UK and are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
